Lash Extension FAQ
Everything you need to know!
WHAT IS A "HALF SET"?
A half set is a natural set of single lashes. We apply a synthetic lash to every other one of your lashes along your lash line to create a beautiful, yet natural set of lashes! Perfect for those who tend to not wear a lot of makeup day to day, want to try out lashes for the first time, or just want a natural boost to their every day look.
CAN YOU STILL HAVE A NATURAL LOOK WITH A FULL SET?
Absolutely! Lashes come in all different lengths and thicknesses. Whether you prefer short and full, natural cat eye, or even dramatic, we can accomplish almost any look you are going for.
DO YOU STILL NEED TO WEAR MASCARA?
Not at all! You will love the dark and full look your lashes give your eyes. Mascara can build up along the lash-line if it is not cleansed properly, and unfortunately mascara is also oil-based which will break down the bonds of the adhesive at a faster rate. If you crave a full look, we recommend asking your lash technician about your options at the time of booking your appointment.
WHAT IF I DO NOT WANT TO CONTINUE WITH LASH EXTENSIONS?
Not a problem! You have a few options. You can allow them to fall off naturally, come in for a removal service or blend with mascara until the lashes shed themselves. Please do not pick or play with the lashes! They will damage your natural lash if they are pulled out.
CAN I HAVE AN ALLERGIC REACTION? IF I THINK I DO, WHAT SHOULD I DO?
It Is possible, and it can happen at any time, even after years of lashing. Your lids generally become puffy and swollen if you are allergic to the adhesive used during lash services.
The best thing to do is book a removal and take a form of allergy medication right away. When people form an allergy to lash extensions, it is generally the ingredient in all lash adhesives that make the lashes stick. Unfortunately, this means that any adhesive thus far in the lash industry will cause you a reaction.
WILL HAVING LASH EXTENSIONS DAMAGE MY NATURAL LASHES?
They will not. If applied correctly and properly, they are extremely safe, and do not ruin your natural lashes.
Rubbing your eyes, tugging, or pulling on the extensions can cause damage because this can pull out the natural lash from your follicle before it is ready to naturally fall out. Please refrain from touching the lashes unless it is with a lash wand which will be provided at the end of your services.
HOW CAN I TAKE CARE OF MY LASHES?
Avoid getting your lashes wet for up to 24 hours.
